VOSH Home Owners Association 2010 Pool Schedule
Open Tuesday through Sunday, 6AM – 10PM
Closed on Mondays except for Memorial Day- will close on the Tuesday following Memorial Day

Swim Team Practice & Meet Schedules
(During swim team practice, there will be one lane available for VOSH residents. This lane is for lap swimming only. Please do not use the open lane for “free swim” as this has caused safety related problems in the past. Thank You)

May 24th – June 3rd
Monday through Thursday, 4PM – 7PM

June 7th – June 24th
Monday 4PM – 7PM
Tuesday through Thursday Mornings, 8AM – 11AM
Tuesday through Thursday Evenings, 9PM – 10PM (June 8th – June 24th )

Pool Rules

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS & CONDUCT Swimmers must have a pool key and applicable picture ID (for swimmers aged 16 and older with them to enter pool area. The pool is for the use of Villages of Shady Hollow Homeowners Association members and their invited guest(s) and/or appointed guardian(s) only. Any individual(s) reported to be/found to be in violation of any of the following pool rules will be reported to the Villages of Shady Hollow Homeowners Association Board and possibly the Austin Police Department and/or Travis County Sheriffs Department (as applicable). The nature of the situation will be considered and action(s) toward resolution will be at the Board’s discretion.

PLEASE USE CAUTION. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK and DO NOT SWIM ALONE.

  • Children age 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older who is a Villages of Shady Hollow Homeowners Association member or an appointed guardian.
  • Guests are limited to 4 per family. If you need to entertain more than 4 guests, please call Pioneer Management
  • Proper swim attire is required. No “cut-offs” are allowed. - Children who are not toilet trained MUST wear plastic pants alone, or over a diaper. Diapers alone are NOT acceptable. - Guests are limited to 4 per FAMILY Conduct by any person deemed to be dangerous, unreasonable, or offensive (including “horseplay”) is not allowed and should be reported to Pioneer Management at 447-4496. Any individual disciplined repeatedly, or for serious infractions, will lose all pool privileges for the rest of the season.
  • Running or speed walking within the pool area is prohibited.
  • Pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, or motorized cycles are not allowed within the pool fences.
  • Diving from the side of the pool is not permitted.
  • No glass containers of any type are allowed in the pool area.
  • No electrical appliances are allowed inside the pool fence.
  • Food shall only be consumed in the covered area away from the pool.
  • All trash generated by swimmers must be placed in garbage containers or otherwise properly disposed of.
  • Swimmers are encouraged to shower before entering the pool.
  • Air-inflated equipment may be used provided the craft is a maximum of a 2 person carrier.
  • Any items lost will be your responsibility. If the loss or find is of great value, please contact Pioneer Management at 447-4496.
  • The gates are to remain locked at all times. The pool can be accessed with a pool key and under no circumstances should the gates be propped open. The fence and gate that surround the pool area are for resident protection.
  • Swim safely and treat others as you would like to be treated. Respect your neighbors, no matter their age or race.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, OR ILLEGAL DRUGS BE PERMITTED IN THE AMENITY CENTER OR SURROUNDING AREAS. ANYONE SEEN ENGAGING IN SUCH USE WILL BE SUBJECT TO LOSS OF PRIVILEDGES FOR A PERIOD OF TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY THE ASSOCIATION BOARD.

Use common sense! ADDITIONAL RULES WHICH MAY BE POSTED AT THE SWIMMING POOL WILL ALSO APPLY

THE POOL CLOSES PROMPTLY AT 10:00 PM AND OPENS AT 6:00 AM LOSS OF POOL PRIVILEGES

Any individual(s) using the pool after hours (see pool rules), could lose all pool privileges for the season. The Board will consider individual events. Any person in violation of the pool rules resulting in damage or necessitating special cleaning of the facilities or pool will be held financially responsible for additional expenses. The Board will consider individual events. Any individual(s) committing act of vandalism to the pool, pool house, equipment, and/or surrounding area will lose all pool privileges for a period of time to be determined by the Association Board, and held financially responsible for cleaning and/or repair of damages. If the individual(s) are juveniles, the parents shall assume full responsibility for their child’s actions. The Board will consider individual events. Guest Policy A guest must be accompanied by a Villages of Shady Hollow Homeowners Association member.
