Architectural Control Committee

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC)  reviews and approves plans for  homeowner property improvements. The ACC ensures that these improvements are done in a manner that is consistent and compatible with the rules and guidelines set forth in the VOSH deed restrictions.

The ACC members are all volunteer residents. The ACC may have up to three voting members, and also non-voting advisory members. Currently the three voting members are:

Procedure for submitting improvement plans and specifications for approval by the ACC

  1. Fill out the ACC Construction of Improvements Submittal form, and mail the form along with any supporting documentation to Pioneer Real Estate Services:

  1. Pioneer Real Estate Services will document and forward the request to the ACC.
  2. The ACC will provide a response, either approving or denying the request, or requesting additional information. The ACC response is sent to Pioneer Real Estate Services, Pioneer Real Estate Services will document and mail a written response to the requestor.

Important! Please provide all the requested information relevant to your Improvement. This will expedite the process.

Please allow 30 days for this process to complete, under no circumstances should you proceed with construction without a written approval by the ACC. If you do not receive a response within the 30 day time frame please call Pioneer Real Estate Services to learn the status.

Supporting Documentation

  1. Exterior improvements such as sheds, playscapes, decks and patios must include a plat drawing which shows the property dimensions and setbacks.
  2. Pool requests should include a plat drawing which provides the location and dimensions of the pool, pumps, heaters and decking.
  3. Larger improvements such as garages or room additions should include a plat drawing indicating the square footage of the improvement and of the existing home.
  4. Patios, arbors and pergolas should include a plat drawing as well as an elevation drawing or picture of the intended improvement.
  5. All submittals should include a Materials List indicating colors and or finishes.
